Dr. Schmidt earned his medical degree in 2009 and completed a distinguished residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, where he was recognized as Resident of the Year throughout his training. As Chief Resident, he received the prestigious Robert D. Dripps, MD Memorial Award for his excellence in anesthesia. He then pursued a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized center of excellence in pain medicine.
